STYLES & CATEGORIES Rise Yoga Studio offers a variety of yoga styles so everyone can find a practice that fits his or her individuality. All classes are mixed level, our instructors work with beginners and advanced students in each class.
Some yoga styles emphasize physical alignment, some explore a soft fluid healing approach while others are active and moving. Each and every style, when practiced regularly, offers physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. Advanced Yoga Studies "Live Yoga & Balance Your Life!" Advanced Yoga Studies dives deeply into the holistic concept of “yoga as life”, giving rich purpose and meaning to our everyday experiences. Yoga teaches us the art of graceful living by bringing control to our physical structure, our mind and emotions so we can connect with our true infinite self. Yoga also teaches us to uncoil the energy which lies within us so we can enrich our selves and reach our full potential. Our focus in this intensive series is to apply asana, pranayama, energy movement and meditation to uncover who we truly are as people living on this earth, and fulfill our purpose in life with joy and meaning. You will come away from this program with practical steps and techniques to apply yoga into your daily life. As part of this program you will be asked to commit to daily asana, pranayama and meditation practice. You will also be encouraged to participate in a 15 day dietary cleanse which will prepare you to make new nutritional choices. SIGN UP Beginning Yoga Studies "Discover Yoga & Feel Better!" Beginning Yoga Studies starts you on your personal journey into the world of yoga. Learn at a comfortable pace in a supportive environment with others who are new to yoga. This introductory series prepares you for any of the physical exercise (asana) classes on our schedule and lays the foundation for our deeper Intermediate Yoga Studies and Advanced Yoga Studies Programs. SIGN UPWATCH VIDEO Intermediate Yoga Studies "Deepen Yoga & Focus Your Life!" Intermediate Yoga Studies deepens your understanding and awareness of yoga as a method to discover and achieve purpose and meaning in your life beyond asana. Each five week series explores a specific philosophical aspect of yoga in detail, incorporating asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and dhyana (meditation). You will come away from each series with deeper comprehension of the philosophy of yoga, how to live a yoga lifestyle and how to bring dhyana into your daily life. To fully appreciate the topics, we recommend you have at least 3 months of yoga experience or have attended Beginning Yoga Studies and have a regular yoga practice. SIGN UP
